Good evening, everybody! Whenever I have to buy new clothes, new appliances, new anything... I try and save in other places. And it's not because we NEED to save in other places, it's just a habit.
So anyway, I told Brenton this week "let's try to eat out of the pantry for the entire week!"
Here we go!
Our breakfasts and lunches aren't that exciting, so I'm going to stick to dinners.
Dinner 1- Raw Pasta with Tomato Sauce
Look how yummy! I spiralized half of a yellow squash and topped it with a sauce made of cherry tomatoes blended with olive oil and garlic. SO good. SO SO good!!! This is a great lunch, and in fact, I think I'm going to make this again tomorrow. :)

Almost Raw Sushi Salad
Alright- here it is... the first Monday after holiday break. Case of the Mondays, anyone? I'm hoping to make the best, and most, of today. I know that I have a lot of work ahead of me, and the last two years on this day have been absolutely insane and stressful- so here is hoping for a calmer and organized day!
On that note- yesterday, I decided to have one of my favorite lunches, with a new twist.

Doesn't that look scrumptious!? It's my almost raw Sushi Salad.
1 Spiralized Organic Zucchini
1 Spiralized Organic Carrot
3 Baby Bella Organic Mushrooms
1/2 Avocado
1/2 Sheet Roasted Nori Seaweed
Garlic Pepper Seasoning
Ok, holy yum, Batman! This is one of my absolute favorite meals, and really fun to eat because of my Spiralizer
!
Happy Monday to you all!

Spiraling Fun!!!
I am TOTALLY IN LOVE with my new toy
!
That's right! For Christmas, my sister got me a Spiral Slicer (aka 'Spiralizer'). I LOVE IT. Tonight, I made some CURLY FRIES!!

Isn't that fun?! I love it. The seasonings were all 'to taste', and consisted of Season Salt, Chili Powder, Paprika, and Black Pepper. Tossed with a little bit of Olive Oil and baked at 350 for 18-ish minutes. A little spicy, but really good! I haven't had 'fries' in a long time!
If you don't have a spiral slicer, and you're a veggie, vegan, raw foodie, has kids, likes to cook, or entertains with food parties, YOU NEED TO GET ONE OF THESE. I'm in love.
