Happy Sunday to you all. With the cool weather in Columbus today, it has started my thoughts back up about Thanksgiving. I've been searching high and low for some recipes (vegetarian, of course) that make SENSE to serve for a Thanksgiving meal. Sure, we could have pasta with marinara sauce... black bean burgers... stuffed potatoes (the norm) but it's not really.... Thanksgiving-ish. One thought was 'Tofurkey'... which quickly turned to ...uh, how about another option...
So here's what I'm thinking (and of course it always depends on who's house we're going to, who we'll be serving, etc... but we'll get to that if necessary, later)-
Green Salad (also, no recipe needed)
Crock Pot Stuffing
Marinated Portabello Mushrooms ('meat' dish)
Sauteed Asparagus (no recipe needed)
Baked Sweet Potatoes (no recipe needed)
Raw Pumpkin Pie
I think it looks like a winner! What do you think?

Vegetarian fed Turkey would be a nice touch.
